"In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God."
(Psalms 62:7)

My Refuge

Dear Friends,

Greetings! 'Pell mell' is a term that comes to mind concerning the rush of related and seemingly unrelated events taking place on the world stage today. As we witness the confusion taking place all around us in the world, one thing we can be sure of is that, it is not God's doing. 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us; "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace."

King David even prayed in Psalms 71:1 "In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion." To be able to escape the confusion swirling all around us, which has been deliberately created by the enemy of our souls, we need to put our trust in the Lord. As we have quoted before; "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."(Isaiah 26:3)

As David Berg said as far back as 1971; "The world is always in a hurry! That's the devil's own machinery: to speed up the world--anything to make everything move faster! God created the earth 6,000 years ago and it hasn't hardly varied in its speed since then! God never got in a hurry.--It's still revolving the same rate every day! God hasn't speeded up the seasons or the years any. Man is speeding it up--hell-bent for destruction!"

Again King David said; "I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands." (Psalms 143:5) There is a great difference between amusement and muse. Amusement which comes from Latin literally means "away from thinking". While to muse means to; "to think deeply and at length; meditate".

If you are tempted to fear as you read the articles below, many of which we try to correlate with end time events, take time to meditate on the promises of God. Remember, faith replaces fear. When you know that God loves you, you know that everything is going to be all right.

Barack Obama is close to revealing plan for Middle East peace

The Obama Administration is close to presenting its plan for peace in the Middle East to Israel and the Palestinians, senior officials said yesterday.

Ehud Barak, the Israeli Defense Minister, said that the long-awaited plan would be disclosed to the parties within weeks and recommended that Israel take the initiative and accept the proposals from its most important ally, with whom it has endured strained ties recently.

Mr Barak told the parliamentary foreign and defense committee. I believe that Israel must take the lead in accepting the plan.

In Washington, a State Department spokesman confirmed that the plan would be announced by George Mitchell, the special Middle East envoy in a matter of weeks.

No details were released, although it is thought that the plan is based on an Arab (peace) initiative whereby Israel would gain recognition from the Arab world in return for the creation of a Palestinian state.

Differences still persist between both sides, focusing on control of Jerusalem, the right of millions of Palestinian refugees and their descendent's to return to the country and the issue of Jewish settlements in the West Bank.

It is thought that the plan will have a broader regional approach than previous peace efforts, and will include the participation of Syria, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

Look out, Iran leaders pave way for messianic 'Mahdi'

5th annual confab brings together politics, religion, apocalyptic end times visions

August 10, 2009

Iran last week held a multi-day conference, bringing together politicians, mullahs, students - Shiite and Sunni alike - to plot what can be done on this earthly plane to hasten the coming of the anointed one, a messianic, end times personage known as the Mahdi.

"For the past five years, the Iranian religious and political leaders have annually gathered together for two days in the city of Qom for what is called 'The International Conference of Mahdism Doctrine,' sponsored by the Bright Future Institute," explains Richardson in a WND commentary today. "The purpose of the Bright Future Institute is 'to introduce Imam Mahdi to the world' and 'to pave the ground for his reappearance' and as [President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad stated at last year's conference, 'help bring all of humanity to the knowledge of the true savior of mankind, Imam al-Mahdi.'"

Each year a growing number of Sunni Muslims and Christians join the predominantly Shiite hosts. This year, 400 articles were presented and 40 were selected for presentation. After the completion of the conference each year, the conference papers are published in book form and also placed on the Bright Future website.

"The theme of the conference this year was 'the Society and government which prepares the ground for the appearance [of the Mahdi]: Missions and Strategies,' explains Richardson, whose controversial book has skyrocketed up the best-sellers list since it debuted last week. "Each year, a special tribute is also paid to 30 key individuals who are recognized as being particular bright lights in the ongoing effort to spread the knowledge of the Mahdi worldwide. These 30 are known as 'the Helpers of the Mahdi.'"

Says Savyon and Y. Mansharof, an Iranian scholar: "From the establishment of the Islamic Regime in 1979 to Ahmadinejad's rise to power in August 2005, Mahdism had been a religious doctrine and a tradition that had no political manifestation. The political system operated independently of this messianic belief and of the anticipation of the return of the Mahdi. It was only with Ahmadinejad's presidency that this religious doctrine has become a political philosophy and taken a central place in politics."

'1984': It's here

Exclusive: Phil Elmore shows to what extent

Orwell book has become reality via Obama

Posted: August 13, 2009

By Phil Elmore

With those children, he thought, that wretched woman must lead a life of terror. Another year, two years, and they would be watching her night and day for symptoms of unorthodoxy. ... All their ferocity was turned outwards, against the enemies of the State, against foreigners, traitors, saboteurs, thought-criminals. It was almost normal for people over 30 to be frightened of their own children. And with good reason, for hardly a week passed in which 'The Times' did not carry a paragraph describing how some eavesdropping little sneak - "child hero" was the phrase generally used - had overheard some compromising remark and denounced its parents to the 'Thought Police'.

These words, written by George Orwell in his prophetic novel, "1984," describe a dystopian future in which an all-powerful government watches its citizens night and day. A socio-political and omniscient Party rules the world in which Orwell's characters live, and it is ever vigilant for signs of disloyalty, of dissent, among the subjugated populace. Any word or deed that can in any way be deemed an impropriety in the eyes of the stern, totalitarian government of Big Brother is an offense so serious that all citizens, including their own children, are encouraged to inform on the offender. Spying on and then reporting your own parents, ensuring that they will be hauled away into the night to be tortured, re-educated and then executed, is deemed a noble act, the most heroic thing a young child of the Party can do.

Orwell's dystopia was one in which technology played an extensive role in controlling the populace. For example, every citizen had in his home a telescreen, a mandatory, always-on television capable of monitoring his every move and recording his every word. "Behind Winston's back the voice from the telescreen was still babbling away," wrote Orwell of his novel's protagonist, Winston Smith. "Any sound that Winston made, above the level of a very low whisper, would be picked up by it; moreover, so long as he remained within the field of vision which the metal plaque commanded, he could be seen as well as heard. There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live - did live, from habit that became instinct - in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized."

Britain's astonishing "Secure Beneath the Watchful Eyes" campaign is just one of many disturbing trends in invasive government surveillance among the British, who seem hell-bent on making reality (a few decades late) Orwell's vision of his then-future. In an echo of Orwell's depiction of an informant-driven society, the blog Statism Watch reported in March that Britons had been urged to rifle through their neighbors' trash in order to inform on those suspicious neighbors' refuse.

"A new London Metropolitan Police anti-terrorism campaign," the post reads, "is encouraging law-abiding citizens to look through each others' bins' to check for 'suspicious' items such as chemical bottles, and to report any troubling findings to the police." Troubling findings. Suspicious trash. Does anyone wish to place any wagers as to how many people will find themselves facing police interrogations based solely on their busybody neighbors' unfounded hysteria?

The web of technology-saturated informants using telephones, camera phones and the Internet to tell their government that someone else is doing something untoward is a global one. One of the more obvious places to find citizens calling and e-mailing on their fellow citizens is China, as you would of course expect. "China's Ministry of Supervision," reads the People's Daily Online, "on Wednesday announced the discipline watchdog will open the unified national informant hotline '12388' on June 26, for the public to report discipline offenses of civil servants and officials."

While on the surface the idea of government oversight - and citizen input toward that government oversight - sounds laudable, I'm not sure what is truly more disturbing. Is it the fact that the Chinese government has a "Ministry of Supervision," or that there's now a national 911-style hotline for reporting government corruption in this Communist, totalitarian dictatorship, because governmental corruption (presumably considered breaches of "discipline") is so widespread?

Are you wondering if this culture of informing, this tattletale nation of citizens suspiciously monitoring their fellow citizens' law-abiding behavior, can happen here? You shouldn't. You, as an American, live under a brittle almost-dictatorship headed by a man who cannot stand criticism and who cannot abide dissent. You answer to a man previously described in Technocracy as our technology dictator, a man whose operatives dispatch union thugs to beat up those who dare to criticize Barack Hussein Obama's plans to nationalize the United States' health care system. (These are, of course, the same law-abiding Americans who were deemed "un-American" by Nancy Pelosi, in writing.)

When Obama's transition website, Change.gov, can be retroactively scrubbed to remove all references to his confiscatory plans to disarm American citizens, Orwell's prediction of a revisionist State has already come true. When Obama can go on record as saying that he supports single-payer socialist medicine, then boldly lie and say he doesn't, Orwell's vision of a dishonest and double-speaking State is reality. When Homeland Security declares that almost all conservatives and libertarians in the country are domestic terrorists, Orwell's nightmare of a government making dissenters "unpersons" is only too real. When your pediatrician's office wants to know if you own any guns, Orwell's citizen spies are already poking through your trash and peeking in your windows.

When your president urges you to report to the government any citizens who dare to question his socialist schemes, asking you to send an e-mail to flag@whitehouse.gov, technology has ushered us into Orwell's past future, and we have all become Winston Smith.

Will Americans follow orders to take flu shots?

Alarmist language sparking fears of mandatory vaccinations, quarantines

August 11, 2009

By Bob Unruh

Avian flu viruses like this one have raised worries in the past similar to those being raised by this year's swine flu. Alarmist language over possible outbreaks of swine flu as well as a series of moves by the federal government are fueling fears federal agents will soon be forcing citizens to be vaccinated - prompting one political party to launch a pre-emptive defense against any such effort.

The Constitution Party, a fast-growing alternative to the dominant Democratic and Republican parties in many elections, has come out strongly in opposition to any "mandatory injections" of "potential toxic (H1N1) 'swine flu' vaccine."

Citing the Fourth Amendment, which says, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons ... shall not be violated," Constitution Party National Committee Chairman Jim Clymer said the issue isn't that complex.

"It comes down to the most fundamental of all freedoms. If government can force potentially dangerous substances into our bodies what, then, can't government do to us?" he said.

Shots frighten you? Be sure to get "SCARY MEDICINE: Exposing the dark side of vaccines"

"Whether mandated by the federal government, the individual states such as Massachusetts or international organizations like the World Health Organization or the United Nations, forcing potentially dangerous chemicals on a free people is tyranny," Clymer said.

The Constitution Party cited the research of Bill Sardi, who noted the "cozy relationship" where the WHO "prematurely" declares a pandemic, forcing dozens of governments to buy flu vaccines. Then, he wrote, public health authorities invoke mandatory vaccination programs for children.

The enriched vaccine makers then "funnel profits back to the politicians."

The party noted the alarmist behavior on the part of the U.S. Departments of Health and Homeland Security, which earlier this year when "several people" were "diagnosed" with swine flu, declared a national public health emergency.

When that was declared in April, schools were closed, people quarantined and pharmaceutical companies awarded billion dollar contracts, the party explained.

Condemnation also has come from Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who cited the swine flu vaccination program in 1976. The effort killed more than two dozen people - not from the flu but from the vaccine.

Paul said he was concerned that "nearly $8 billion will be spent to address a 'potential pandemic flu' which could result in mandatory vaccinations for no discernible reason other than to enrich the pharmaceutical companies that make the vaccine."

Clymer also expressed concern about turning over decisions inside the United States to an international organization like the WHO. Adding other pieces to the puzzle, such as the Pentagon's involvement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, just adds to his worries, he said.

According to a Fox report, the Pentagon is planning to make available military troops - if they are needed - to help FEMA respond to a flu outbreak.

The report said Defense Secretary Robert Gates is preparing to sign an order letting the military set up regional teams to help FEMA.

"Americans should be gravely concerned when all the pieces are put together," Clymer said. "We have a strain of flu which has produced mild symptoms so far, and yet it appears there's a well-orchestrated world-wide effort to put draconian measures in place for a 'pandemic.'"

Clymer also cited the WHO recommendations that would provide, essentially, for an indefinite stay in a quarantine camp for those who refuse a vaccination. He said the procedures that follow a "Level 6 Pandemic" allow international precedent to override U.S. constitutional guarantees of freedom.

The party statement said, "All liberty-loving Americans should shudder at the WHO directives which state: 'During a pandemic, it may be necessary to overrule existing legislation or (individual) human rights. Examples are the enforcement of quarantine (overruling individual freedom of movement), use of privately owned buildings for hospitals, off-license use of drugs, compulsory vaccination or implementation of emergency shifts in essential services."

No such extraordinary efforts are needed, the Constitution Party said, because according to the Centers for Disease Control, "the fear mongering regarding this flu is not warranted by forensic evidence that H1N1 is the potentially devastating plague the hyperbole purports it to be."

According to the Fox report, the bird flu frenzy during 2005 prompted the Bush administration to add influenza to the government's list of diseases for which quarantines are allowed, creating a path through which people who exhibit symptoms could be detained by government order.

Governors, however, according to a report from The Hill, are objecting to the potential involvement of the feds.

Gov. Jim Douglas, R-Vermont, head of the National Governors Association, and Vice Chairman Gov. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., wrote, "We are concerned that the legislative proposal ... would invite confusion on critical command and control issues, complicate interagency planning, establish stove-piped response efforts, and interfere with governors' constitutional responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of their citizens," Douglas and Manchin wrote to Paul Stockton, assistant secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and America's Security Affairs.

And the Fox report said even a spokesman for the Defense Department acknowledged the concerns "about civil liberties and the use of force."

Attorney Robert L. Shannon told the network the military generally isn't allowed to intervene in peoples' lives, "But it's important to remember that the president has the option and authority to use federal troops in a national emergency."

An ACLU spokesman told Fox that the idea of forced vaccinations or detentions would raise constitutional questions, and Michel Chossudovsky, writing on the Global Research website, said the implications are "far-reaching."

"The decision points toward the establishment of a police state," he said.

At Natural News.com, a warning was issued that more and more incidents are being reported involving forced vaccinations in the United States - usually through workplace or school demands.

"Attorney Alan Phillips, author of Dispelling Vaccination Myths, ... got interested in the subject when he noticed the warning on a vaccination that was about to be administered to his infant child. The warning clearly stated that the odds of death from the vaccination were considerably higher than death from the diseases it was supposed to immunize," the report said.

The site even promotes a petition to halt forced vaccinations.

As the flu season approaches, a conference also has been scheduled to allow leaders of government and industry to consult on the potential problem.

The event in the past has been used to discuss various strains of bird flu, but this year is being called the International Swine Flue Conference. It's Aug. 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.

Among the topics to be considered are: "Unwillingness to follow government orders," "Control & diffuse social unrest & public disorder," "Protect police forces from falling ill & from being hurt in civil disturbances," and "Manage a surge in crime & meet routine requests at the same time."

The international flu conference, promoted by New-Fields.com, is being assembled for "top leaders and decision-makers" from a broad range of industries as well as "scientists, public health officials, law enforcers, first responders, and other experts."

The promotional brochure lists topics:

Mass fatality management planning -

Country report and situations update -

Surveillance and data management -

Command, control and management, and others.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press is reporting that Americans in eight cities are preparing to take a swine flu vaccine that still is in the testing stages, in manufacturers' hopes that the vaccine will be on the market soon.

The 'Second American Revolution' Has Begun

By Gerald Celente

8-12-9

KINGSTON, NY -- The natives are restless. The third shot of the "Second American Revolution" has been fired. History is being made. But just as with the first two shots, the third shot is not being heard.

America is seething. Not since the Civil War has anything like this happened. But the protests are either being intentionally downplayed or ignorantly misinterpreted.

The first shot was fired on April 15, 2009. Over 700 anti-tax rallies and "Tea Parties" erupted nationwide. Rather than acknowledge their significance, the general media either ignored or ridiculed both protests and protesters, playing on "tea bagging" for its sexual innuendo.

Initially President Obama said he was unaware of the tea parties. The White House later warned they could "mutate" into something "unhealthy."

Shot #2 was fired on the Fourth of July, when throngs of citizens across the nation gathered to again protest "taxation without representation." And as before, the demonstrations were branded right-wing mischief and dismissed.

The third volley, fired in early August, was aimed point blank at Senators and House members pitching President Obama's health care reform package to constituents. In fiery town hall meetings, enraged citizens shouted down their elected representatives. It took a strong police presence and/or burly bodyguards to preserve a safe physical space between the politicians and irate townspeople.

The White House and the media have labeled protesters "conservative fringe elements," or as players in staged events organized by Republican operatives that have been egged on by Fox news and right-wing radio show hosts.

In regard to this latest wave of outbursts, health industry interests opposed to any reform are also being blamed for inciting the public. But organized or spontaneous is not the issue. While most protesters exhibit little grasp of the complex 1000 page health care reform document (that nary a legislator has read either), their emotion is clearly real and un-staged.

Rightly or wrongly, the legislation is regarded as yet another straw on the already overloaded camel's back. A series of gigantic, unpopular government-imposed (but taxpayer-financed) bailouts, buyouts, rescue and stimulus packages have been stuffed down the gullet of Americans. With no public platform to voice their opposition, options for citizens have been limited to fruitless petitions, e-mails and phone calls to Congress all fielded by anonymous staff underlings.

Now, with Congress in recess and elected representatives less than a stone's throw away, the public is exploding. The devil is not in the details of the heath care reform, the devil is the government mandating health care. Regardless of how the plan is pitched or what is being promised, to the public the legislation is yet another instance of big government taking another piece out of their lives and making them pay for it; again telling them what they can or cannot do.

Though in its early stages, the "Second American Revolution" is underway. Yet, what we forecast will become the most profound political trend of the century-the trend that will change the world --is still invisible to the same experts, authorities and pundits who didn't see the financial crisis coming until the bottom fell out of the economy.

Trend Forecast: Conditions will continue to deteriorate. The global economy is terminally ill. The recession is in a brief remission, not the early stages of recovery. Cheap money, easy credit and unrestrained borrowing brought on an economic crisis that cannot be cured by monetary and fiscal policies that promote more cheap money, easy credit and unrestrained borrowing.

Nevertheless, Washington will continue to intervene, tax and exert control. Protests will escalate and riots will follow.

Fourth Shot of the "Second American Revolution": While there are many wild cards that could light the fuse, The Trends Research Institute forecasts that if the threat of government-forced Swine Flu vaccinations is realized, it will be the fourth shot. Tens of millions will fight for their right to remain free and unvaccinated.

Publisher's Note: The power of the Internet and new technologies is inexorably fermenting the "Second American Revolution." However widespread and emotionally charged, had the tax rallies, tea parties and healthcare reform protests occurred in years past, they might have been covered by the local media, but might not have made national headline news and thus would have died stillborn.

Now, with the ubiquitous camera-equipped cell phone, universal access to YouTube, and millions of twitters and tweets, the uprisings cannot be ignored, contained, managed, spun or edited down. The revolutionary fervor will prove contagious.

Can anything stop it?

Trend Forecast: Before the momentum of the "Second American Revolution" becomes unstoppable, it could be derailed through some false flag event designed to deceive the public, or a genuine event or crisis capable of rallying the entire nation behind the President. In a worst-case scenario, according to Trends Research Institute Director, Gerald Celente, "Given the pattern of governments to parlay egregious failures into mega-failures, the classic trend they follow, when all else fails, is to take their nation to war."

A false flag attempt, a genuine crisis, or a declaration of war, may slow the momentum of the "Second American Revolution," but nothing will stop it.

Children Bad for Environment

Kate Galbraith

August 7, 2009

Having children is the surest way to send your carbon footprint soaring, according to a new study from statisticians at Oregon State University.

The study found that having a child has an impact that far outweighs that of other energy-saving behaviors.

Take, for example, a hypothetical American woman who switches to a more fuel-efficient car, drives less, recycles, installs more efficient light bulbs, and replaces her refrigerator and windows with energy-saving models. If she had two children, the researchers found, her carbon legacy would eventually rise to nearly 40 times what she had saved by those actions.

"Clearly, the potential savings from reduced reproduction are huge compared to the savings that can be achieved by changes in lifestyle," the report states.

Hunger hits Detroit's middle class

Food has long been an issue in this city without a major supermarket. Now demand for assistance is rising, affecting a whole new set of people.

By Steve Hargreaves, CNNMoney.com staff writer

August 7, 2009

DETROIT (CNNMoney.com) -- On a side street in an old industrial neighborhood, a delivery man stacks a dolly of goods outside a store. Ten feet away stands another man clad in military fatigues, combat boots and what appears to be a flak jacket. He looks straight out of Baghdad. But this isn't Iraq. It's southeast Detroit, and he's there to guard the groceries.

"No pictures, put the camera down," he yells. My companion and I, on a tour of how people in this city are using urban farms to grow their own food, speed off.

In this recession-racked town, the lack of food is a serious problem. It's a theme that comes up again and again in conversations in Detroit. There isn't a single major chain supermarket in the city, forcing residents to buy food from corner stores. Often less healthy and more expensive food.

As the area's economy worsens --unemployment was over 16% in July -- food stamp applications and pantry visits have surged.

Detroiters have responded to this crisis. Huge amounts of vacant land has led to a resurgence in urban farming. Volunteers at local food pantries have also increased.

But the food crunch is intensifying, and spreading to people not used to dealing with hunger. As middle class workers lose their jobs, the same folks that used to donate to soup kitchens and pantries have become their fastest growing set of recipients.

"We've seen about a third more people than before," said Jean Hagopian, a volunteer at the New Life food pantry, part of the New Life Assembly of God church in Roseville, a suburb some 20 miles northeast of Detroit. Hagopian said many of the new people seeking assistance are men, former breadwinners now in desperate need of a food basket.

Across metro Detroit, social service agencies are reporting a huge spike in demand for food assistance.

The changing face of hunger

There have been plenty of people struggling in Detroit for a long time. What makes this recession different is the type of people coming in. It's no longer just the homeless, or the really poor.

Now it's middle class folks who lost their $60,000-a-year auto job, or home owners who got caught on the wrong side of the real estate bubble.

Many of these people have never navigated the public assistance bureaucracy before, and that makes getting aid to them a challenge.

Kremlin bill on using army abroad

2009/08/10

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has introduced a bill to parliament that would allow the country's armed forces to intervene beyond Russia's borders.

The bill would allow Russian troops to be used abroad "to rebuff or prevent an aggression against another state" or "protect Russian citizens abroad".

Mr Medvedev said the bill was linked to last year's war with Georgia over South Ossetia, Russia's Interfax reports.

Moscow said it was protecting Russian citizens in South Ossetia.

The war began on 7 August 2008, as Georgia tried to retake control of its breakaway region, following a series of clashes.

Russian forces quickly repelled the assault and pushed further into Georgia.

The conflict lasted for five days before a ceasefire was agreed. Russia pulled back, but built up its military presence in both South Ossetia and another breakaway region, Abkhazia.

'Addressing issues'

On Monday, Mr Medvedev said the new bill was "linked to the well-known events that happened last year", according to Interfax.

"We very much hope that these events do not happen again but the issues need to be addressed," he said.

If approved, the bill would augment an existing law allowing the president to use Russian special military units abroad.

Under the law adopted by MPs in 2006, the president must notify lawmakers of any such operation, but the unit size, location and timing can be kept secret.

Snowin' in the Wind? Dylan Christmas album due

Saturday, August 08, 2009

Bob Dylan is set to release an album of Christmas songs, including "Here Comes Santa Claus" and the carol "O Little Town of Bethlehem," according to music websites.

Rumours of the album first emerged on Isis magazine website, which is devoted to Dylan. It later reported the songs had been recorded in Jackson Browne's studio in Santa Monica, California, in May.

David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, who played accordion on Dylan's chart-topping latest album "Together Through Life," is one of the musicians who took part in the sessions, it said.

"It is a personal project of Dylan himself rather than an idea put forward by his record company," Isis said.

Billboard magazine said it had confirmed the album existed. Other songs included "Must Be Santa" and "I'll be Home for Christmas," it said.

Dylan was originally of the Jewish faith and was a Born Again Christian from 1979-1981, releasing three religious-themed albums.

"At first glance it may sound bizarre, but I don't think Dylan cares much about what his detractors might make of it," Scott Marshall, who has written a book 'God and Bob Dylan: A Spiritual Life' told bullypulpit.com.

"He's both never renounced being Jewish or renounced his experience with Jesus some three decades ago," Marshall said.

Dylan, now aged 68, is currently touring the United States as part of his so-called "Never Ending Tour."

Britain's Uncut magazine meanwhile poked fun at the project, serving up Yuletide puns on Dylan songs such as "A Hard Reindeer's A-Gonna Fall," "Sleigh Lady Sleigh" and "Girl From The North Pole Country."

There is one major mistake the author of the above article made concerning Bob Dylan. He said, "Dylan...was a Born Again Christian from 1979-1981". Once a person has received Jesus as his Saviour, or as Jesus said in John 3:3, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." It is Ad infinitum, or as one dictionary put it, "a non terminating process".

Once you have received Jesus and been "born again" there is no process for becoming unborn again. John 3:36 says, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." Once you have it, you have it forever and it can never be lost!

If you don't already have everlasting life you can receive it right now. All you have to do is pray a simple prayer for simple salvation. Just pray, dear Jesus, I know I have done wrong in my life. I have sinned against you and others. I ask that you please forgive me my sins, give me eternal life, help me to love you and others. Amen.

Write us if you have any questions concerning salvation, or do a search on the web site with the key words; salvation, born again, or eternal life. If you would like to contact one of our Christian mystics concerning any question or problem you may have, we encourage you to do so.

Until next week, take time with God.
